Why choose a Waldorf inspired early education for your child?

Outdoor play by the stream

Our Cooperative offers a warm and beautiful atmosphere that develops what Rudolfs Steiner called a child's 12 senses: the will senses (touch, life, movement, and balance), the feeling senses (smell, taste, sight, and warmth), and the cognitive senses (hearing, speech, another's thought, and another's "I"). The Waldorf approach to education is focused on the holistic development of the whole child.

We intentionally develop these senses through:

Storytelling: Engages the child's imagination, vocabulary, and memory

Free play: Ignites creativity and nurtures social connections

Seasonal songs: Reflects what the child experiences in nature, develops their speech, and controlled breathing

Outdoor Play and Walks: Cultivates a love for nature, strengthens the child's body, and stimulates sensory development

Artistic activities: Develops healthy sense of sight color and hand dexterity and strength which provides the foundation for academic work in the grades, provides a calming medium for expressing emotions

By choosing a Waldorf education for your child, you're not just preparing your child for school—you're nurturing their whole being in a way that honors their natural developmental stages, helping them build a lifelong love of learning. Our play-based approach allows children to grow at their own pace, focusing on cultivating their inner sense of wonder and joy for learning.
